Guild CharterCasual Pro is a casual PVE Raiding guild. Basically this means that we are a group of people that have prior commitments in our lives and cannot adhere to a strict raiding schedule but still wish to experience end game content. Our raiding schedules allow for greater flexibility of those who work and attend school full time while still allowing us to progress in the game.
We are a mature content guild and we do not recommend that those under 18 apply . This is not to say that we do not make exceptions to that rule but above all we look at maturity and the ability to work as a team. We are not looking for the glory hounds of the server, we do not feel the need to prove anything to anyone with "phat loots" and bosses killed, it is not our style.
Again just to be clear: Casual Pro is a CASUAL guild by "casual" we mean we do NOT raid 5 nights a week (or we do but you have a choice to come whenever suits you), that the schedule can change due to unforeseen issues, we care much more for the well being of our players and their families over the content in this game and that there can, and will be down time and you may actually have to entertain yourself (**gasp** I know - it's horrible!!!!).
(based on Ressurection guild charter - many thanks guys)
General Rules- Most important rule states: NO MERCY FOR THE SLACKERS
- Our main language is English.
- Being a member of our guild means that: you must put the guild's best interest in your priority list. You also should help guild members with quests, gathering items, developing professions etc.
[*You have to treat the guild like your 2nd home. You are in organized structured community and if you are needed within organization, all current tasks, instances, raids, PVP has to be stopped. This is known as "Guild Call". We don't expect you to join guild 5 man instances, but all 25 man Raids. This will have extreme consequences when the number of players is close 25 as attending and not attending will make difference between Raiding or not. - Try NOT to PUG: having Guild best interest in mind please try to take as many guild members to your run. Try to gear those undergeared so they can became more valuable for all.
- You may not flame, misbehave or insult any guild members.
- Do not complain about guild/raid rules in the middle of a raid/run! If you don't agree with the guild/raid rules or you think they are un-fair - contact one of the officers or Guild Master via in-game mail.
- Alts are allowed in Casual Pro if you are ranked as member or higher.
Raid RulesDo's:
- Learn the tactics before the raid.
- Come prepared - buy potions, flasks, elixirs. Check with other guild members who can make things for you.
- If you are not fully enchanted, gemmed and prepared you may be denied Raiding until you sort the problem. (Which is definitely SLACKING)
- Follow all instructions from Raid Leader.
- Install Ventrilo
- Be sure to follow the instructions from the designated puller (this may or may not be the MT).
- Communicate in Party or Raid chat.
- Read and understand the Loot Rules from the guild website.
- Feel free to type "STOP" if you need to stop party movement or communicate concern.
- Stick with the group.
- Stay aware of the immediate area. There are many times rooms are skipped or enemies are in adjacent room.
- Dismiss Pet when jumping off ledges. Nothing worse than a pet dragging ton of enemies to easily wipe the party...you will not be making many friends this way.
Don'ts:
- Do not get in front of the MT when walking into regions. The MT is the guide.
- Do not pull enemies. Let the MT (or designated puller) do their job.
- Do not loot in combat. Wait until all enemies are dead before jumping on corpses
- Do not explore on your own!
- Do not argue in RAID or party chat. You have a problem with something in the way the instance is going then contact the Officer/Raider or Guild Leader in private chat.
- Save any or all comments towards the raid leader, whispers and anything else not related to the encounter, for when the raid is over.
(Thanks to Liquid Courage Guild!)Other and Loot:
If Rank Loot system is not used (10 mans for example) following rules apply:
- On all Guild runs unwanted items, green items, non-BOP recipes etc should be gathered by Master Looter/Raid Leader and then placed in Guild Bank. Some items will be disenchanted and mats will be available for those who need them.
- Master Looter does not have to ask to perform the roll for loot and should be fair when awarding rewards without rolling.
- Loot should be awarded to those who need it the most or who deserve it the most. By the 'most needed' we understand the biggest difference between current gear and the loot. Example: Drop - epic axe. Player1 is using green axe, Player2 is using blue axe. In that case axe should be awarded to Player1. In other cases ML should take into account following things:
- Class
- Main Spec
- Off Spec
- Master Looter has final word when comes to awarding the loot. Any argues/bitching during the raid will not be accepted.
- If you do not agree on ML decision please talk to your Class Leader/Officer/GM after raid. The issue will be investigated.
AddonsThe Following addons are required for raiding with us:
- Omen (the newset version) for monitoring threat.
- DeadlyBossMod or BigWiggs for monitoring boss abilities.
- Non-Addon: Ventrilo (you have to be able to listen on Vent, no mic required)
It is highly recommended to update these addons as often as possible.Guild Rules for Casual Pro created by Cogdill (July 2008), updated 04.02.2009
